Ravil Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of Tatarstan, visited Privolzhskiy and Kaybitskiy forest districts

The Minister of Forestry inspected the activities of State Public Institution “Privolzhskiy Forest District” and State Budgetary Institution “Privolzhskiy Forestry Establishment”.

 During the inspection, the Minister inspected the forestry workplaces, sanitary felling areas in Sviyazhskiy forest district, plantings of gullies in 2018. Also, the Minister got acquainted with the work of Tenkovskiy district forestry and production workshops for sawmilling. After inspecting the forestry Ravil Kuzyurov planted three memorable trees.

Ravil Kuzyurov drew the attention of the staff of Privolzhskiy forest district to the quality of the works performed.

Later, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan got acquainted with the work of the State Public Institution "Kaibitskiy Forest District" and State Budgetary Institution "Kaibitskiy Forestry Enterprise". Ravil Kuzyurov inspected timber harvesting at logging felling using the Amkador forestry complex, the working premises of Kaibitskiy forest district, the garage where the fire-fighting equipment PCS-3 was presented, a forest nursery and Kaibitskiy oak forests famous all over Russia.

Kaibitskiy oak forests are the best in Tatarstan. This is genetically the best forest, the area of ​​which is more than 700 hectares. Age of oaks is 80-120 years old. The main goal of the genetic reserve is to harvest seeds with improved properties. The Minister noted the importance of preserving and developing this project at the federal level.

At the moment, more than 3 million pieces of seedlings of the main forest-forming species grow in the forest nursery, next year 300,000 of them will replenish the forest fund of Tatarstan.

The Minister also inspected the implementation of the Russian-German project "Conservation and optimization of oak plantations in the Republic of Tatarstan". Ravil Kuzyurov examined the planting of oak-lime plants planted according to the Nelder circle method. This project is also under special control of the Ministry of Forestry of Tatarstan.

After the inspection, the Minister held a meeting with the staff of the Kaibitskiy forest district and forestry enterprise, where also Albert Rakhmatullin, Head of the Kaibitskiy district, took part.

The Minister paid special attention to the quality and profitability of the forest nursery, underlined the need to adapt the nursery to modern economic realities.
