Ravil Kuzyurov held a meeting with the heads of subordinate institutions
An organizational meeting on implementation of sanitary and recreational measures in 2018 was held today by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov, in the assembly hall of the department.
The main topic of the meeting was the need to quickly carry out sanitary and recreational activities in forestry facilities of the republic by the end of 2018.
“In recent years, the territory of Tatarstan has suffered unfavorable weather conditions, which are marked by glazed frost and strong winds”, the Minister addressed the forestry officials. - Considering the presence of large areas and volumes of damaged plantings, in order to avoid deterioration of sanitary and fire-hazardous conditions, urgent sanitary measures are required in forest districts of the republic”.
During the meeting, First Deputy Minister of Forestry, Emir Bedertdinov, addressed the meeting. He told the foresters that by the end of 2018 it was necessary to finish the work on harvesting of illiquid wood in the territories of forest districts.
In addition, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov, touched upon the organization of pre-New Year events, in particular, preparations for “Spruce” Operation, which is carried out in order to detect illegal tree felling, as well as other issues of the forest industry in the region that need to be resolved.
