A Ministerial Meeting was held at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the implementation of protocol instructions and identified key tasks for the remaining period of the current year. The Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov, held a Ministerial Meeting. The event was attended by deputy ministers, managers and specialists of relevant departments of the Ministry.
The meeting participants reported to the Minister about the work being done to protect, conserve and restore the forests of the republic, clean up the forest fund, conduct auctions for sale of the right to conclude contracts for the purchase and sale of forest plantations, supply wood and others.
Ravil Kuzyurov instructed the staff of the Ministry to strengthen the work on identification, prevention and suppression of illegal logging of forest plantations. “From December 20, the operation “El” begins. It is necessary to provide daily patrols of forest areas. Our common task is to ensure the safety of coniferous stands”, he said.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister focused on preparation and holding of a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the approval of forest management regulations for the republic's forest districts.
