Representatives of the Ministry took part in the meeting on establishment of forestry boundaries in Nizhny Novgorod

Today, a joint meeting of the Department of Forestry in the Volga Federal District and Federal State Budgetary Institution “Roslesinforg” on topic “Interaction in implementation of state work to ensure the determination of boundaries of forest areas in 2019; Results of work for the years 2015-2018” was held in the city of Nizhny Novgorod. The meeting was attended by Aleksandr Ornatsky, Head of the Forestry Department for the Volga Federal District, Lyudmila Konovalova, Deputy Director of the Roslesinforg Federal State Budgetary Institution, representatives of regional forestry authorities, industry institutions, including from the Republic of Tatarstan - First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Emir Bedertdinov and Leading Consultant of the Department of State Forest Registry, Forest Use and Forest Management of the Ministry Ramil Gilmanshin.

Within the framework of the meeting, topical issues of conducting a state forest inventory, establishing the boundaries of forest areas in the regions, entering data into the State Forest Register of the Russian Federation, the Unified State Register of Real Estate, etc. were considered.

A brief report on the work done in the Republic of Tatarstan was made by First Deputy Minister Emir Bedertdinov. He said that in total, in Tatarstan, cadastral registration was carried out on lands of more than 328 thousand hectares (about 27% of the total forest fund area).

Emir Bedertdinov noted that along with this, the republic was working to establish the boundaries of forest areas. During 2018, this activity was carried out in 24 forest areas on a total area of ​​920 thousand hectares, which is 74% of the total forest fund area. “It remains to complete work on establishing the boundaries of seven forest areas on a total area of ​​316 thousand hectares”, he said.
