Results of All-Russian table tennis competitions were summed up in Sabinskiy district of Tatarstan

Today, the closing ceremony of the XVIII open personal-team All-Russian table tennis competitions dedicated to the memory of Honored Forester of the RSFSR and TASSR - Nurgali Minnikhanov was held in Bogatye Saby town settlement. The event was attended by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan - Ravil Kuzyurov, the Head of Sabinskiy municipal district - Rais Minnikhanov, the First Deputy Minister of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan - Khalil Shaikhutdinov, the President of the Table Tennis Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan - Ainur Aideldinov and others.

As part of the competition, a tournament among athletes from rural areas of the Republic of Tatarstan and a tournament of the strongest athletes of Russia took place. About 250 athletes from the Republic of Tatarstan and other regions of the country participated in the competitions.

According to the results of the competition of athletes from rural areas of the Republic of Tatarstan among young men, Salavat Zagidullin (Sabinskiy district) took first place, Gadel Valimukhametov (Sabinskiy) - second place, Mikhail Syarkin (Alekseyevskiy) - third place. Among girls, Kamilla Shigapova (Sabinskiy district) was awarded first place, Diana Gallyamova (Vysokogorskiy) – 2nd place, Azaliya Murtazina (Bavlinskiy) – 3rd place.

In the team competition, the places were distributed as follows: Sabinskiy district ranked first, Aktanyshskiy ranked second, Rybno-Slobodskiy ranked third.

According to the results of the tournament of the strongest Russian athletes among men the first place in singles was taken by Sadi Ismailov (Kazan), 2nd place - Andrey Baybuldin (Krasnodar), 3rd place - Taras Merzlikin (Moscow). Among women, the victory was won by Sun Chen (Kazan), 2nd place was awarded to Anna Bikbayeva (Kazan), 3rd place – to Elena Abaimova (Kazan).

Among men in doubles, Vitaly Murzin (Kazan) and Maksim Kaburkin (Cheboksary) took 1st place, 2nd place was taken by Andrey Baybuldin (Krasnodar) and Marat Sultanov (Kazan), 3rd place - Vladislav Samsonov, Dinar Yusupov, Sergey Zagoskin and Robert Ziganshin (Kazan). Among women, Ekaterina Okhotnikova (Kazan) and Dinara Ismailova (Bogatye Saby) were awarded 1st place, Daria Chernova (Nizhny Novgorod) and Anastasia Maltseva (Kazan) were awarded 2nd, and 3rd place was awarded to Elena Abaimova, Alsu Galeyeva, Anna Kondratova and Endzhe Nizamutdinova (Kazan).
