More than 150 cubic meters of household waste and deadwood were exported from the republic’s forest fund within the framework of the “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” campaign

More than 150 cubic meters of solid municipal waste and dead wood were collected and exported from the forest fund of the republic within the framework of the environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan”. This was told by the Head of Forest Fund Protection and Conservation Sector of the Ministry Alsu Mustafina.

“This campaign started on September 16 and takes place in all municipal districts”, Alsu Mustafina reminded. “It involves employees of various organizations, enterprises and institutions, tenants, representatives of horticultural partnerships, cooperatives, environmental associations, students, school pupils, and volunteers”.

According to her, within the framework of the campaign, forestry specialists has already landscaped 5 springs, repaired 36 nameplates, information boards and gazebos in the forest, and conducted classes in educational institutions.

“Among the leaders in terms of the volume of garbage collected and other indicators are employees of the Arskiy, Mamadyshskiy, Cheremshanskiy and Alkeyevskiy forestry enterprises”, added Alsu Mustafina. “Of course, the main goal of the “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” campaign is not only to create a favorable sanitary and environmental situation in the forests, but also to foster respect for the forest”.
