Central Administration of the Ministry of Emergency Situation of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region summed up the results of the command and post exercises in Udmurtia

From March 19 to March 20 of this year, command and post exercises were held in the Udmurt Republic to eliminate emergency situations caused by spring floods and natural fires.

According to the scenario, the following training situation (legend) was worked out during the exercises: on March 19, at 10:00 o’clock, a single dispatch point of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Udmurt Republic received a message from the patrol group about the detection of smoke in the territory of Kiznerskiy forest district near the Yamushan-Klyuchi village. The patrol group found that the source of fire is located in block 14, sections 10, 11 of the Yuzhnyi precinct forestry of the Kiznerskiy forest district. The fire area is visually 6 ha. In connection with the increase in wind, the area of the fire increases to 21 hectares, fire spreads further. There is a threat of passing of fire to the Yamushan-Klyuchi village, regions of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Kirov region.

The forces and means involved in extinguishing the fire are not enough. A decision is being made to attract additional fire fighting forces from the Republic of Tatarstan and the Kirov Region.

Today, the results of the command and post exercises in Udmurtia were summed up at the meeting in the video conferencing mode at the Central Administration of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia divisions, forestry management bodies of the Volga Federal District, including from the Republic of Tatarstan - First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, Director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center” Aidar Gaifullin, etc.

It was noted that the command and post exercises were successful: the interagency cooperation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia departments, regional forestry management bodies, organizations and structures allows us to guarantee minimization of risks in the event of an emergency.
