In the territory of district forestry divisions the forest gardens, where in conditions of open grounds seedlings and planting stock of the main forest forming species are breeding, are functioning in order to provide the Republic of Tatarstan with planting materials while reforestation works performing.

Artificial forest formation may be conducted in two ways: seedlings and planting stock planting and seed sowing in reforesting areas.

Spring sowing of forest seeds in forest gardens of subordinate authorities is completed fully.  

By planned 22 hectares, the experts conducted sowing in the territory of 24 hectares. By the way, at present a work on seedlings weeding and watering are conducted in the forest gardens. 

Annually on June 5 all people in the world celebrate environmental international holiday – a World Environment Day.

History of the holiday is connected with the conference dedicated to environmental issues. Even more than 40 years ago people were troubled about issues of environmental pollution, further development of human civilization.

In 1971 more than 2 thousand well-known politicians, researchers, writers and painters from 23 countries signed and send a compellation to UN General Secretary. The document contained matters, warning humanity of imminent danger, related to widespread pollution of nature. A board on environment protection was founded, its authorized representatives are performing their activities in each country of the world. Specialized organizations, aimed at environment protection, were founded. The members of such organizations aimed not only at minimizing the damage caused by developing industry to nature, but also at carrying out events and campaigns focused on protection of human environment. Nowadays world community takes all available measures for improving environmental situation.

In a World environment day foresters call all citizens to take care of nature and prevent environmental disorder of our home-world.
