The Center for Forest Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, a branch of the FBU Roslesozashchita, summed up the results of the work carried out in 2022 on state monitoring of forest reproduction.

In the course of the work to identify (inventory) lands that are not occupied by forest plantations and require reforestation, using remote sensing technologies (ERS), field surveys were carried out last year on the lands of the forest fund of the Bolgarsky, Aksubaevsky, Nurlatsky, Zelenodolsky, and Alkeevsky forestries. Based on the results of the survey, it was found that the reforestation fund within the boundaries of 5 forestries is 104.2 hectares.

The assessment of the characteristics of forest plantations was carried out during field surveys following the schedule for 2022. A total of 35 sites were surveyed, classified as lands on which forests are located, on an area of 110 hectares. Checks were carried out in Buinsky, Tetyushsky, Bolgarsky, and Agryzsky forest areas.

Along with this, the Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan assessed the characteristics of planting material in the nurseries of the Mamadyshsky, Kaybitsky, Kzyl-Yulduzsky, Zelenodolsky forestries, and the Forest Selection and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan. The condition of crops in the examined nurseries was assessed as good.
