Over the last weekend 187 wildfires were eliminated and localized on the territory of Russia

According to the regional forestry dispatch services, over the last weekend (August 20 and 21, 2016) the forest fire-fighting services and involved persons  eliminated 116 wildfires on the total area of more than 32.5 thousand hectares, 71 wildfire was localized on an area of ​​more than 2.3 hectares.

Since the beginning of this year, as of August 22, in Russia more than 9 300 wildfires were eliminated. The main cause of fires is the human factor. In addition, in a number of regions of the Siberian, Far Eastern, Urals, Northwestern and Volga Federal Districts a high storm activity is noted. As a result, the wildfires occur. This year more than 2500 storm fires have already occurred.

As of August 22, on the territory of the Russian Federation 91 wildfire on the total area of ​​2361 hectares is eliminated, including:

- 14 fires on forest reserve lands on the area of ​​1429 hectares (the Tomsk Region);

- 31 fire on forest reserve lands on the area of ​​310 hectares (the Sverdlovsk Region);

- 3 fires on forest reserve lands on the area of ​​215 hectares (Republic of Buryatia);

- 7 fires on forest reserve lands on the area of ​​113 hectares (the Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District);

- 8 fires on forest reserve lands on the area of ​​102 hectares (the Perm Region);

- 2 fires on forest reserve lands on the area of ​​62 hectares (the Kirov Region);

- 1 fire on forest reserve lands on the area of ​​35 hectares (the Kamchatka Region);

- 9 fires on forest reserve lands on the area of ​​19 hectares (the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District);

- 3 fires on forest reserve lands on the area of ​​5 hectares (Republic of Komi);

 

 

- 2 fires on forest reserve lands on the area of ​​3 hectares (the Tyumen Region);

- 2 fires on forest reserve lands on the area of ​​2 hectares (the Krasnoyarsk Region);

- 1 fire on forest reserve lands on the area less than 1 hectare (Republic of Bashkortostan);

- 2 fires on lands of specially protected natural reservations on the area of ​​4 hectares (Republic of Bashkortostan – Bashkirsky Nature Reserve, Shulgan-Tash Nature Biosphere Reserve);

- 1 fire on the lands of other categories on the area of ​​35 hectares (the Perm region –Chusovskoye Forestry);

- 2 fires on the lands of other categories on the area of ​​15 hectares (the Sverdlovsk Region: the Sysertsky and Degtyarsky urban districts);

- 1 fire on the lands of other categories on the area of ​​10 hectares (the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Districtg – the Nadym district);

- 2 fires on the urban lands on the area of ​​2 hectares (the Sverdlovsk Region – the Verkh-Isetskoye Forestry).

As of today, the emergency situation regime exists in 4 regions of Russia, namely, over the entire territory of the Tomsk Region, 1 district of the Perm Region, 1 district of the Sverdlovsk Region, 1 region of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.

The special fire prevention regime exists in 41 regions of the Russian Federation: over the entire territory of the Belgorod Region, Voronezh Region, Ivanovo Region, Lipetsk Region, Moscow Region, Ryazan Region, Tambov Region, Tver Region, Arkhangelsk Region, Vologda Region, Astrakhan Region, Volgograd Region, Rostov Region, Kirov Region, Nizhny Novgorod Region, Orenburg Region, Samara Region, Kurgan Region, Tyumen Region , Irkutsk Region, Tomsk Region and Perm Region, Republic of Karelia, Republic of Komi, Republic of Kalmykia, Republic of Bashkortostan, Republic of Mordovia, Republic of Udmurtia and Republic of Chuvashia, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, in 18 districts of the Kaluga Region, 12 districts of the Smolensk Region, in 9 districts of the Krasnodar Region, in 1 district of the Republic of Adygea, in 5 districts of the Stavropol Region, in 13 districts of the Sverdlovsk Region, in 2 districts of the Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District, in 8 districts of the Chelyabinsk Region, in 9 districts of the Trans-Baikal Territory, in 43 districts of the Krasnoyarsk Region, and in 6 districts of the Republic of Buryatia.
