The forestry experts took part in the meeting of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan for Ecology, Natural Resource Management, Agroindustrial and Food Policy

In the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan a meeting of the Committee for Ecology, Natural Resource Management, Agroindustrial and Food Policy “On the planned activities in connection with the Year of Ecology declared in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2017” was held. The deputies of the State Council, representatives of ministries and departments, and the mass media took part in the event.

During the joint meeting, several issues, including those concerning the Ministry of Forestry, have been considered. As part of the Year of Ecology, the foresters will conduct reforestation activities on the territory of 2.5 thousand hectares, and the establishment of forest plantations on the whole territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
