Ravil Kuzyurov, Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, held a Ministerial Meeting
Today, a Ministerial Meeting was held at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, at which the progress of the assignments performance was discussed, as well as tasks were set for the upcoming period. The Meeting was held by the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov. Deputy ministers and heads of departments of the Ministry took part in the discussion.
The Meeting addressed issues of preventing and detecting violations of forest legislation, the progress of preventive operation “Lesovoz”, protection and reproduction of forests, holding auctions for sale of the right to conclude contracts for forest plantations sale and purchase, timber supply, etc.
Ravil Kuzyurov also inquired about the progress of work on harvesting forest plots along federal and regional roads, identifying plots for laying water protective plantations in municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan and the results of implementation of the School Forestry Development Plan implementation in 2018.
At the end of the Meeting, the Minister instructed the staff to begin work on development of a “Consolidated plan for extinguishing forest fires in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2019”, and also to consider the possibility of holding the “Best Firefighter” competition.
