First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov conducted flight over the territory of the forest fund of the republic
Today, First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov flew over the territory of the forest fund of the republic on an AN-2 aircraft. The event was also attended by the Director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center” - Aidar Gaifullin.
The air patrol was conducted over the territory of the forest fund of 14 municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. The total length of the route was 568 km. According to the results of air patrolling, 2 fires were discovered on the lands of other categories - grass burning near the Burtasy village of the Kamsko-Ustyinskiy district and solid household waste near the Kubassy village of Chistopolskiy district.
“In the Republic of Tatarstan, the fire-dangerous season in forests started from April 15. To date, 563 cases of fires have been recorded in areas bordering the forest fund, commented the First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov in a conversation with journalists. - We are doing everything possible to ensure fire safety in forests. Space monitoring of the fire hazard situation, aviation and ground. Air navigation is carried out on 3 routes and covers the forest fund with a total area of 1.2 million hectares”.
18 fire-chemical stations of type II at forestry enterprises and 5 fire-chemical stations of type III at the SBI of RT “Forest Fire Center” operate in the republic in order to detect and extinguish forest fires. In 2019, within the framework of the regional project “Forests Conservation in the Republic of Tatarstan” of the national project “Ecology”, it is planned to purchase 42 units of forest fire equipment. This will allow to create two new fire and chemical stations of type II on the basis of SBI of RT “Nizhnekamskiy Forestry Enterprise” and SBI of RT “Nurlatskiy Forestry Enterprise”.
The number of forest fire formations is 651 people, 319 units of various equipment. In case of an emergency, it is envisaged to attract the forces and means of organizations that carry out and not carry out the use of forests, with a total of 3,362 people, in whose equipment there are 741 units of equipment.
