Employees of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Laishevsky forestry enterprise” completed work within the autumn forestry season
Employees of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Laishevsky forestry enterprise” completed work within the framework of the autumn forest cultivation season. “According to the state assignment, on the territory of the forestry, the addition of forest crops was carried out on an area of 110 hectares and soil plots were prepared for next year's crops on 6 hectares,” said Natalya Suslikova, an engineer for forest management of the State Institution of RT “Laishevsky forestry”.
“Along with this, an inventory of the planting material in the forest nursery was carried out, as well as of forest crops and protective forest plantations. In total, 333 thousand seedlings were grown this year. This amount is sufficient for reforestation in 2021, ‒ added Natalya Suslikova. ‒ As for the procurement of seeds, the forestry workers collected 170 kg of seeds of coniferous and deciduous species. Thus, all the work was completed in accordance with the necessary requirements in timely agrotechnical terms, the autumn forest cultivation season has been successfully completed.”
