Today in the Department of Forestry for the Volga Federal District a meeting of the headquarters for the coordination of activities to extinguish forest fires in the Volga Federal District was held. The meeting was held by videoconference, chaired by the head of the department, Alexander Ornatsky.
The event was attended by representatives of the forestry management bodies of the district, including from the Republic of Tatarstan ‒ Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Rais Gumerov and head of the forestry protection and protection sector of the Ministry Alexei Mosunov.
During the meeting, Alexander Ornatsky dwelled on the issues of developing consolidated plans for extinguishing forest fires and preparing for a fire hazardous season in forests.
In addition, within the framework of the event, the issues of digitalization of the forestry complex, forest management and execution of the federal budget in 2020 were considered.
