Memorial plantings are laid in Tatarstan as part of the celebration of the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria

In the Republic of Tatarstan, work is underway to lay commemorative plantings as part of the celebration of the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria. In the city of Agryz, the event was organized on the territory of the Nur mosque. The head of the Agryz municipal district Azat Valeev, the imam-mukhtasib Almaz Hazrat Gizzatullin, the head-forester of the GKU RT “Agryzsky forestry” Vladimir Ishmuratov, and others took part in planting trees.

In total, 58 pieces of pine, linden, and mountain ash seedlings were planted.

In the Spassky municipal district, 40 pine seedlings were planted near the village of Privolzhsky. The event was attended by imam-muhtasib Farkhat Hazrat Minsagirov, dean of the Spassky and Alkeyevsky districts, archpriest Andrey Zinkov, head of the forester of the Bolgar Forestry State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan Dmitry Zarifullin and others.

Similar actions within the framework of the celebration of the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the peoples of the Volga Bulgaria will be organized in other municipal regions of the Republic of Tatarstan.
