The second day of the V Meeting of school forestries of the Republic of Tatarstan “Digital Forest” was accompanied by a rich program
Today, various educational programs and master classes were organized on the basis of the State Budgetary Educational Institution “Lubyansky Forestry College” as part of the 5th Meeting of School Forestries of the Republic of Tatarstan “Digital Forest”.
Thus, experts from the Kazan branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Roslesinforg” told the students about the state forest registry, ongoing work on forest management, establishing the boundaries of forest areas, the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Roslesozashchita” “Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan” - the goals and objectives of forest pathological monitoring and monitoring of forest reproduction, features of verification seeds of forest plants, ANO VO “University of Innopolis” and LLC “Innogeotech” - the main activities and results of the digital transformation of the forest complex of the Republic of Tatarstan, teachers of GBPOU “Lubyansky Forestry College” - the history of the educational institution, specialties and disciplines that students study. Also, schoolchildren were able to see forest management tablets, learned how to use electron microscopes and create maps using the QGIS software product.
Specialists of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center” held a master class “Protection of forests from fires”. They familiarized pupils of school forestries with the main types and causes of forest fires, implemented a set of measures for the fire-fighting arrangement of forests and demonstrated forest fire equipment used to extinguish fires.
Along with this, the students took part in master classes on artistic painting on wood, basket weaving, woolen sketching and making toys from natural materials. They were organized by the teachers of Lubyansky Forestry College.
“Today was a very rich and interesting program,” said Maria Repeva, a pupil of the school forestry “It will be clean”. “I learned a lot of new and interesting things in the field of forest management. Of the master classes, I liked the making of amulets dolls the most.”
