Students of the Faculty of Forestry and Ecology of KSAU got acquainted with the exposition of the Zoological Museum named after E.A. Eversman
Students of the Faculty of Forestry and Ecology of Kazan State Agrarian University visited the Zoological Museum named after E.A. Eversman. This museum is located in the Kazan (Volga) Federal University.
Zoological Museum named after E.A. Eversman is one of the country’s oldest repositories of this profile. The museum collection includes exhibits from 23 types of animals, 3.5 thousand vertebrates, 750 insects (more than 30 thousand samples), 4 thousand invertebrates. About 1.4 thousand exhibits are recognized as especially valuable.
During a visit, Associate Professors of the Forestry and Forest Cultures Department, Shamil Shaykhraziev and Aigul Mukhametshina told students about the forest fauna of the republic, forest pests and forestry management methods.
