The Ministry hosted a meeting of the Commission on Combating Corruption under the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was attended by Deputy Ministers of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, Rais Gumerov, heads and specialists of the structural divisions of the Ministry.

The main report at the event was made by the head of the sector for civil service and personnel, responsible for the prevention of corruption and other offenses, Elvira Ziyatdinova.

Elvira Ziyatdinova acquainted the meeting participants with an overview prepared by the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on anti-corruption policy based on the analysis of information provided by the state authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan and local self-government bodies on the implementation of anti-corruption measures for 9 months of 2021 and presented the results of a sociological survey on the state of corruption in the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tajikistan.

“The public opinion poll was conducted on the official website of the Ministry in the period from September 1 to October 1 this year, a total of 1227 people took part in it,” she said. “The results of the study showed that the potential for participation of civil servants of the Ministry in corruption schemes is assessed as low.”

At the end of the meeting, the work plan of the Commission under the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tajikistan on combating corruption for 2022 was considered.
