Competitions “The best school forestry of the municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan” are held in the districts of the republic
Competitions “The best school forestry of the municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan” are held in the regions of the republic. They are organized by the subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan ‒ forestry and district education departments.
Competitions are held in 2 stages: qualifying (in educational institutions) and main (in subordinate institutions of the Ministry).
During the competition, the activities of pupils of school forestries are assessed in the following areas: “Reforestation” (participation in planting trees and shrubs, harvesting seeds of forest plants), “Protection and preservation of forests” (participation in activities to protect forests from fires, protection from pests and diseases, cleaning the forest fund, making and hanging artificial nests for birds), “Educational activities” (conducting conversations, lectures, seminars, conferences on environmental topics), “Organizing the activities of the school forestry” (developing copyright educational programs, conducting research activities, forestry work on school grounds, etc.).
The winners of the competitions will be determined at the end of May this year. They will be awarded with certificates of honor, memorable prizes and become participants in the IV Meeting of school forestries of the Republic of Tatarstan, which will be held in July 2021 on the basis of the Lubyanka Forestry College.
